LAFAYETTE — Forrest Keith Anno, 69, 631 Ferry St., Lafayette, died at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2002 in St. Mary's Healthcare Center, Lafayette. He had been in ill health for the past six weeks. He was born Aug. 8, 1932 in Attica, the son of Morton Richard and Mildred Grace Riley Anno. He married Susanne Helen Nile July 2, 1954 in Jackson, Mich. She preceded in death May 21, 1958. He was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1951. He had lived in Lafayette for the past 20 years. He formerly worked for Smart’s Cleaners in Attica. He later worked as a sales clerk for Danley's Auto Parts Store and later for NAPA Auto Parts store in Attica and the surrounding area for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U. S. Navy. Survivors include: a sister, Marilyn (Jim) Nile, Lafayette; five nieces, Kelli (Rick) McKee, Wingate, Teresa (Rhett) Whitchurch, Evergreen, Colo., Jamie (Paul) Bell, New Ross, Sandra Wheeler, Pine, Colo. and Karolyn Wheeler, Nashville, Tenn.; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a step sister, Phyllis Rice; and a niece, Mary Lisa Nile. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Burial with military gravesite services were in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Community Foundation. – jlr
